love that Jackson still brings back some of his relatively "obscure" songs. I'm convinced this could be a hit today if covered by the right country artist with the right production

Jackson Brown was never obscure , He helped the Eagles become who they are . His Albums were very popular and well received like the pretender album . He was not country, and these half assed " so Called " artists of today could not match his song writing ability or " feel it" which would certainly lead to some mediocre song. It is fine where it is in History

NORTH JERSEY - remember Thursday nights back in 1977 ? ....EVERYBODY.... dancing to "Cloverhill" at "Dirty Nelly's" - doing their cover of THIS song in Elmwood Park ??? Shout out .... I still remember like it was yesterday... and still see it ALL clearly....literally falling RIGHT to the floor .....after a really bad day at school and Shop-Rite ....AND BTW TWO (back to back) double shots of Chartreuse.... (110 Proof) ..... Kevin(s). John, Jean, Sue, Jane, Pete, Bob, Jimmy(s), Ronny(s), Timmy, Eddy D, Mike ......the BEST was Kevin's (querky) "slow" twist to THIS tune ..... by a mile ......right ??? ..... West NY Kevin - you still kickin' it ??? Jackson Browne will be at "The Arts Center" - July 7, 2021.... maybe he'll record another show there ..... like he did when we were there in 1977 ......(HOPE IS ETERNAL .... Ted (my dad) used to say !!!
