Have one just like it. Except it has a licensed floyd rose tremolo. Its a good guitar. I put some Duncan pickups in it... Didn't like the stock ones.

Throw some black winter pickups in there and it will sound like a champ. Those Jackson pickups are bland.

Are they active pickups? they look like it but i cant tell for sure, I know they do have some with Jackson Active pickups but i've only seen them on guitars with maple fretboards so far

Hi Ayrtom great video. I'm a begginer and I just bought this beauty. I have some questions.... I always played with Gibson and I've heard or read in many places that this model it's not confortable to play seated. I love to play in that way. During this days I used my right thigh to keep the body of the guitar, also I use strap, and I incline slightly the guitar to see what I'm playing on the bridge. While I'm seated I'm straight, confortable but maybe something some techniques of playing while I’m being sitting down are "unknown" to me. Fot the rest no troubles, basically I use open chords, power, and some scales. Excellent video, regards from Buenos Aires, Argentina! Sorry for possible errors in my english

I recently got one of these string thru axes. It is like new. So no warranty no information. So for the life of me I have no idea which body wood it's made from Indian cedro or basswood. Because these are made from both. I even wonder if it's really even wood it is so so light. It does have a serial number albeit a damn sticker. I enjoy playing it though. Anyone shine some light on the different body woods.
