these are honestly excellent guitars, I've played for almost a decade and have owned some expensive guitars, these at least for me, are always a positive experience and I would even go as far to say that these guitars hold up well with almost any guitar. I have heard a lot of people bash them, but the guitar world is filled with pompous know-it-alls who love huffing their own farts more than actually enjoying guitar.

I couldn't have said it better. IMO this guitar holds up with any guitar, even expensive ones. It's a blast to play! Thanks for watching!

honestly i wana do the same as you buy the jackson but, switch only the bridge pickup with a Seymour Duncan SH6B BLK do u think its a good ideea? im mostly looking for more of a black or death metal tone so yea.

Hey! The pickups should be actives to bypass the issue with the hardware paint not letting the guitar make proper ground (active pickups have their own ground cable and don't use the ground cable on the guitar). I was considering the Seymour Duncan Blackouts they are active and around the same price of the EMGs. I think any active pickup will serve you well for death/black metal because they are high output. In fact, I would love to try the blackouts on another guitar. Thanks for watching!

@@CarloFenrirI’ve got blackouts as they came installed on my Xseries Rhoads. They’re very good.

How’d you get the wiring from the input through the body and a long enough harness
@CarloFenrir3 ай бұрын
@@silverburst3112 My luthier added a larger cable to make the connection. I think theres a video in YT of a guy exactly modifying a JS32t Rhoads with EMG actives. He does that too. I don't remember the name but try to search the name of the guitar and emgs actives or something. Thanks for watching!
