Secret Garden was original singers ! You Raise Me Up" is a song composed by Rolf Løvland and lyrics written by Brendan Graham. It was first recorded by Secret Garden! Funny you asked because a couple years ago Brendan Graham went to great lengths to get a hold of SoHyang after he heard her sing her version because he wanted to write a song for her! Not this version but this one which is quite different; You Raise Me Up SoHyang was recovering from a bout of pneumonia and against medical advice she sang this Masterpiece!
