This was the best game I've seen JSU play this season. They were actually challenged by a team that didn't allow a blowout. Both teams made some really good ESPN highlight worth plays. This was good for SWAC and HBCU football. That Alcorn kicker/punter is the truth and we may not have seen him without JSU having the media coverage they do now. I enjoyed watching this game. Air McNair would be proud of the challenged his alma mater gave JSU today.

@Atkascha less wear and tear is a horrible take for a DB/WR. 1st off, who knows what he will even end up playing yet. He's got to stay for 2 more years man. That's development on both sides of the ball including games and practice reps. Right now he doesn't play every offensive snap but on defense he does. He will be fine. He got beat 2 or 3 times due to technique and strength not being tired.

Alcorn has a great defensive coordinator. I thought JSU play calling was trash this game on offense. I like RB Wilkerson getting the 1k yards but I thought the faster back no 38 should have ran more on those jet swipes. Alcorn couldn't stop him but they stacked the box for Wilkerson. They should had delay short passes bc Alcorn blitzed alot. They have 2 weeks to clean up for PV or Southern

He has elevated the entirety of HBCU football because his presence alone has gotten people who normally wouldnt care talking about it. But Shedeur doesn't even have better stats than some of these guys at the FBS level, and he is playing with such a talent gap over these other HBCUs that it feels akin to Bama just playing Vanderbilt every week.
