All things considered, having to do all that and still managing 7 wins in year 1 and winning 11 games in year 2 with a conference championship win is amazing. He recruited the #1 recruiting class in FCS year 1 and #3 in year 2. Deion did amazing things while he was here but he gets almost zero credit for the current state at JSU. This is all TC Taylor's hard work but people keeps trying to ignore that and give Deion all the credit despite Deion being gone for 2 years now. They rather kiss his feet instead of giving TC his credit.

I look at the MANY negative comments on what Coach Sanders didn't accomplish and it saddens me. Take your "feelings" out of it. He brought so much to JSU, building higher upon on the set foundation, thusly handing the brick and mortar and trowel to Coach Taylor to continue the work. But the vitriol in the comments are unbelievable! And we wonder why we as a People, a proud and strong People don't reach the heights available to us all. We're "I'm gonna get mines" and "lemme get that hookup", pushing each other down to get up. Coach Prime's players went with him and we lost 60+ upon his exit. This team is a rebuild and the o-line and D-line are way stronger than during the Prime era, this is also a running offense, which is different than the Prime era. Deion is having great success in Colorado, but this is not a team made in his image. This team has the hallmarks of T.C. Taylor.

The Coach Prime hate is crazy work. I'm a Michigan alum, checking back in on you guys because of Prime. Glad to see your continued success. Jim Harbaugh left Michigan after the national championship in January to coach the LA Chargers. He took a lot of the staff, both coordinators, strength and conditioning, and we lost 18 players, 13 to the draft alone. Why are you all so mad? Harbaugh is a Michigan man. I now root for the Chargers, Michigan, Colorado and JSU. Michigan and its coaches maintain a good relationship with the Harbaughs and we are better for it. Great game. Don't deny what the Sanders family did for JSU. Michigan was a Blue blood since before Harbaugh played, and became the head coach, but there is no denying his impact. The sun never sets on the Michigan empire. One day this coach TC will move to another opportunity. This is a good thing. Keep the pipeline going. Build the program and coaching tree. It is not zero sum.

Why is the game played at Jackson State? It gives the home team an unfair advantage with familiarity, fans, and the field. Championship games should be on neutral sites. Do better, SWAC-move the game to a neutral location if the home team is in the final.

It used to be on neutral site but it became home site of the team with the best conference record and have been for years now. But it wouldn't have mattered, even if this game was played in Baton Rouge on Southern's campus, they wasn't going to win. The talent was going to separate the two teams regardless of where they played.

Deion left TC as his air because he knew that he left a foundation for JSU to succeed for a very long time. Prime shined a light on JSU so they can be able to get solid recruits.
