Here’s the story behind this: Jackson is a young general consisting of a large army, and unfortunately died in battle. However he always regretting not being able to save his lover who died before him and so he died with regret. But because he was so respected and because his warriors were really loyal to his they sacrificed themselves (hence why some warriors disappeared in the start) to temporarily bring Jackson back. Jackson is now walking to his lovers grave with the rest of his remaining warrior these warriors them sacrifice their lives to bring her back and Jackson gets to spend sometime with her before their souls become weaker and they need to return to the grave, Jackson is holding onto her tightly so that they get to be buried together. Also the reason why he says ‘I’m the only one that you need’ both of them died either in battle or by being ambushed so they never got a proper proper burial so ofc no offerings of wealth with them instead they only want each other. Hope you guys like the little story I came up with by watching this 😂😂😂

According to some theories with a few extra things thrown in from myself. If you read the gravestone, you can actually see some of the story on there: The story is about a great Chinese General (0:50 ofc)who fell in love with the Princess, but because of circumstances, their love was forbidden. So, the king sent men to kill the General and instructed that his body be buried in an unmarked, forsaken grave in the swamp, never to spoken of again. The Princess could not bear the pain of the loss, so she ended her own life in hopes that they would meet again in the afterlife. Unfortunately, she was given a royal's burial, far away from her beloved. Years later, four of the General's most loyal men managed to locate his grave (0:12). In order to restore the once broken bond between the Princess and her love, they performed a sacred ritual to summon their leader to walk among mortal men once again (0:19). They told him what had happened to his beloved. Instead, he wished to be put to rest with his love, to walk in eternity with the one that was taken from him, but such a task would require a great means of power and strength, more than he or any man could possess. But, his men loved their General, and would be loyal to him until death and beyond. So, the four soldiers allowed their leader to harness their energy using a similar ritual to the one they used to summon him (2:05). This however came at the price of their own lives and places in eternal existence which they humbly and willingly sacrificed for their leader (2:25 the way the soldiers fall backwards in their ritualistic, peaceful pose). Upon finishing the ritual, to his amazement (2:39), there before him... ascended his resurrected love, even more beautiful than he had remembered her (2:44). The General explained to her what had happened and what he planned to do. The Princess was reluctant to return to eternity (her expression at 3:00). They could be one in love in life, not in death. But, he comforted her saying, "There is a hundred ways to leave a lover, but why live mortally only to naively await death to separate us again? I won't wait a minute longer. I'm the only one that you need." (3:05) The General embraced the Princess in his arms tightly and tenderly (3:13) to be sure that they would not be separated during the journey to the afterlife.
