Jackson's "Blow" is about being addicted in general, not really about smoking or cigarettes. As you may have realized, the cigarette references are a metaphor for being addicted to love and the person he is singing about in the song. As he says, "You've got me addicted like cigarettes." In other words, that person keeps him coming back and wanting them more and more like the addiction you get from smoking. This also possibly could be interpreted as appreciating the love and attention he gets from Jackies (his fans), IGOT7 (GOT7's fans) or the public in general, etc. And although Jackson got his start in Kpop, his solo work is geared toward an international audience. It's not really connected to the Kpop industry. His songs are marketed by his company and are designed to actually appeal more to an international/western audience, not necessarily the Kpop industry. (Hence why "Blow" is all in English.) As you may know, Jackson Wang is one of the rappers in the Kpop group GOT7, but as you have seen, he is far more than just a Kpop idol. GOT7 debuted in 2014, so Jackson has been in the industry for about 8 years. And he has been producing music as a solo artist under his own label, Team Wang, since 2017. When GOT7 was still under JYP Entertainment, Jackson made a deal with JYP that 6 months out of the year he would promote and work as a member of GOT7, and then the other 6 months -- while the other members were focusing on solo activities or promoting GOT7's Japanese songs -- he would be working on his solo music and participating in solo activities in China. He is Chinese, from Hong Kong. He grew up attending an international school in Hong Kong were the primary language spoken was English. So he is now fluent in English, and he speaks English almost better than his native Cantonese. So, when it comes to his solo work, most of his songs are in English or Mandarin. Jackson speaks 4 languages fluently: Cantonese, English, Korean and Mandarin. As a soloist he is a global artist. He writes and composes and produces his own music and he is a music mogul -- he runs is own label/company with his crew called Team Wang. Most of the time he even has a hand in coming up with the storylines and directing the MVs. He is hands-on with all aspects of his music. Jackson has 100% control over all aspects of his solo work because it's all part of his company. Because most of Jackson's songs are in English, and he is a fluent English speaker, he does a lot of promotional activities in the U.S. as well, and has collaborated with several famous U.S. artists. (He says his whole goal is to be a bridge between China and the west and he hopes to be one of the first mainstream Chinese artists to have a position in the western/U.S. music industry.) Jackson is gaining a reputation as one of the most famous and well respected singer/songwriter/producer/dancer/artists in China, alongside Lay (Zhang Yixing) from EXO. They are both international powerhouses who dominate in all aspects of the Chinese entertainment industry and internationally. As you have discovered, most of Jackson's MVs are very cinematic. (In recent interviews he has said that he intentionally designs his MVs and choreography to be very theatrical.) If you like "Blow," you will love his other solo songs such as "Bullet to the Heart," "100 Ways," "Pretty Please," "LMLY (Leave Me Love You)," "Drive You Home," "Oxygen," etc. If you want some of his more rap heavy songs try "Papillon," "Fediman," "Titanic," "Dawn of Us," "Made It," "Okay," etc.

Jackson is born and raised in Hong Kong. He was studied ‘American International school’ since he was young in Hong Kong. That’s why he’s fluent in English and has American accent as well (can be say English is one of his first language) Then he went to Korea to be a trainee and be one of the member of the group ‘GOT7’. He is fluent in both English, Cantonese, Korean and Mandarin. He could speak a bit French as well.

Jackson's voice is incredible! I can never get over it listening to it on Spotify! I know Blow is the most impressive after listening to it for a while now. I'm curious about the substance they use in this MV. I was shocked that Jackson wrote this song in English when I first heard it on Spotify! The backup dancers in this music video are amazing! I don't get how Jackson can make his voice like that as he sings in English. I don't know what is happening at that party in this MV because they're all crazy insane! The beginning scared me for a second as everyone started screaming and moving as they lay on each other. Jackson's wardrobe and hair color was incredible! The backup dancers' outfits were amazing!
