JJ Lin is a top-notch Mandopop singer/song-writer/record producer, a Singaporean based in Taiwan with a huge following in Greater China. He is also one of the composers, music arrangers and producers of this song Should've Let Go. This is Mandarin Chinese, not Korean. JJ Lin is one of the legends of Mandopop (Mandarin pop music) - I feel so happy every time legends recognise Jackson's talents and want to work with him. Without a doubt, Jackson himself is a legend in the making and I'm so glad to be able to watch him become one. And Jackson is such a versatile artist; he can do rap, pop, dance, ballads, hip-hop, EDM, R&B, you name it, he can do it very well. "過" means passed, it has meaning of "passed time". The lyrics in this song is about their passed memories of their love story.

I thought so too i don't know much about the song but i think the guy with the uniform and necklace is Jj lin's story line and the other guy is Jackson's story line because I think Jackson said that he broke up with his girlfriend to pursue his career as an idol i might be wrong though

this is jacksons first solo in mandarin feat jj lin, the songs talks bout regrets and letting it go so they can move on from it, the could've/should've, the "what-ifs". from my understanding the two couples in the mv represents them, the high school kids was jj - he had a crush on this other girl but he didnt have the nerve to propose to her and ended up missing the chance to, and the older couple was jackson - i think it was his relationship that he had when he got accepted by jyp which means they had to be separated cus hes off to korea to be a trainee, and the last scenes at the end - giving one last hug to say goodbye/ finally struck up the nerve to give her the note with her necklace and let her know how he feels, those the things that they probably didnt do at the time but its what they imagine they shoul've done to make it up to the regret
