Jimmy, nice to hear a review from somebody that knows what their talking about .Thanks for doing this model. When I order a chicken fried steak I couldn't care less what cooks it and I don't care who assembled this thing if the Fender company offers an acceptable design and materials. I don't expect a $300 guitar match $1000+. Now I think I'll get me one of those hummers.

Jacksons most inexpensive guitars are still legitimate good quality guitars, most other bigger guitar companies call their more affordable instruments a different name, Jacksons are all Jacksons, I have several at any given time from all their price tiers. I just scored a Warrior JS32T , just like yours in the video for a crazy cheap price, cant wait til it arrives, never had a Warrior yet... Great Video!

I got a JS 32 last week. The only problem so far has been the wiring. Glad you mentioned that. Bridge position sounded really thin and cut out completely. I had a new pickup selector switch installed and a wire fixed. It sounds fine now. It had a great feel to it and sounds good thru my Marshall.

Good review. Jackson JS32 are solid guitars for the price IMO. I had J32 Warriors and sold them, regretted it. I went looking for a Rhoads but didn't want a FR or hardtail... Found a new Jackson X Series CDX22 Rhoads Concorde in Snow White, made in Indonesia, has a neck thru, painted neck, Fender style strat trem bridge and locking tuners, fantastic guitar, bound fretboard, fit and finish is great,, minor setup and intonation adjustments and it was ready to play. Thinking about replacing the pickups and adding a coil split as I like having the clarity of single coils, but for humbuckers the stock pickups aren't bad. Also have a new Jackson JS32T Rhoads inbound, the JS32 series are really solid guitars for the money, even if you upgrade electronics / hardware you've got a good guitar for not a lot of money IMO.
@tankdarla6372 жыл бұрын
Never heard of that one CDX22, with a Strat style bridge to boot, sounds cool, I have seen the Concorde shaped one with block inlays I believe but I always though that was some custom shop model or something, I wonder if thats what you have? Available in USA?

Great video. Thank you. How this guitar balance on the strap when you play stending? Is it top heavy, did the nack dive down? I never played Jackson guitars before, are they fast skiny similar to Ibanez wizard nacks?
@jimmyppunk4 жыл бұрын
So since the body is light it does have some neck dive while standing. But it won't be much of a problem when your picking hand/arm is resting on the body while you are playing. And to be honest it's been a long time that I have played an Ibanez that would be considered of having a wizard neck. So I apologize for not having a straight answer. Thank you for checking out the video though! It's very much appreciated!

Im Close to buy one, the only thing that holds me back is that i can't test it cause no store has it in stock and the neck is a big thing for me, so anyone can tell me more about the neck shape??? I don't like the flat and thin Ibanez type necks, so is the Jackson speed neck close to those Ibanez D shape necks?? Or is it more rounded or c shaped?? Greets and thumbs up for the great video!

Well I have the JS32T Randy Rhoads and I will give it 3 of 10 because of the super bad assembly: fast-fast-fast!. Realy bad in risking to ruin the guitar if not taken care of at once but after an total overhaul it is a damd good guitar, in my mind the best new guitar one will get from 300 dollar up to 600 dollar, the neck is exellent, we are talking 1000+ guitars to get such an fine neck.

Say what you want, but the BEST treatment for dry fretboards by FAR is Boiled Linseed Oil.. Yes, I KNOW, the shit STINKS. So what I do is do the treatment outside and leave the guitar to air out for a couple of days in my back room with all the windows open and then the keroseney smell dies away enough to bring it back into the house proper. But it lasts way longer than that fake lemon oil hogwash, thats for sure! try it yourself if you dont believe me, I hope they mioght bring out a de-odourised version in the future!
