@King Charles ✔ pay billions now or Trillions later when Putin becomes more emboldened. Joe Biden and Dems actually passed a infrastructure plan, something Don the Con said was a week away for four years. That infastructure plan was voted against by both of Mississippi senators and is what is going to save Jackson.

Those are just some examples. For the record, Haiti is a completely different beast and there are a lot of factors when it comes to that country, so using it as an example in your attempt to denigrate people of African descent is actually quite silly. And let's not forget the fact that the governor of Mississippi is a known racist. Jackson is one of the largest cities in Mississippi with a majority black population. It wasn't until the story made national news and Biden stepped in did things start to happen. The governor wants to come in like the knight in shining armor who saved Jackson. Tx is awful man. White flight is true for some of Jackson but for my family back home my great grandma and my grandma both live in the heart of Jackson. South/west Jackson actually where it's more dangerous. Georgetown..I've lived in those ghettos.. I know them well. It's not all white flight though.. it's baby boomers that are leaving. I still have family who aren't baby boomers that have lived there since the early 1900s and they don't plan on leaving. Jackson is a world of its own. The part of Jackson I really loved is a complete melting pot of different races and nationalities. Fondren is what the locals call it. It's the art district of Jackson and has a very modern/bohemian hippy culture that is truly one of its own. I love it. Anyway, I don't think it's completely white flight bc it seems like the only white flight ive seen are baby boomers. Idk man. The management of this crisis by the Government of Mississippi has extremely pissed me off. I encourage anyone currently living in the state to vote out the Governor of this mismanaged state, Tate Reeves. He is being challenged by Democratic opponent, Brandon Presley, whose proposed polices of cutting grocery taxes, expanding Medicaid, and lessening corporate lobbying have earned him a 21% favor among the GOP who plan to vote this November.

I just survived hurricane Ian. I’m from lee county, and we had trickling, unsafe water for days but we could at least purify it and use it to clean clothes and shower from the neck down (unless you have open wounds). It was hell, and everything was a struggle. From sitting in line for four hours at water stations to doing the same for a case of bottled water from the national guard. The water is up to full power now but still suggested we boil or drink bottled and avoid eye, mouth, and nose contact. I can’t imagine having to live so long without it.

I think the 140 million they will get if they create a sustainable plan should be used to supply the people with water distilles and remineralization devices. A friend of mine has a setup which come at around 400 bucks and needs 50 bucks every 3-4 months in maintanance. It vaporizes the water under heat, filters the vapor and forces it through a remineralizarion device (idk how its called in english but you can make a custom mineral combination for example high calcium or whatever). You will get the cleanest possible water

This is absolutely shameful that this is happening in Mississippi and Michigan. The amount of money the US government has spent on Afghanistan, Iraq and Ukraine. One billion to fix the money while we give billions of US tax paying dollar to others countries while US citizens suffer needlessly. We had the same issue while I was stationed at Camp Lejeune, NC with toxic water. Our country needs to take care of it citizens and update our infrastructures across the country. Mississippi is the poorest state in our country. Jackson is a city with one of the largest shares of Black people in America, in the Blackest state in the union. Praying that our leaders fix this issue.

As long as you have a squirt bottle you can keep clean with little water. Only Small drops needed to soap up the bottom parts and underarm. Soap up good and squirt the water to clear. ( do this over the toilet and every time you use the bathroom , especially number 2) Lemon juice is a cleanser. Fill up a water bottle to spray your body then naturally dry or wipe off. Same with a few drops of peroxide , some hand sanitizer and any extracted oils ( if you have) spray body clean. Lastly , coconut oil is a cleanser. Rub on body and teeth. ( gargle and spit out) I know this works I've been without running water for a few years. I shine , glow and smell good. No one knows. The whole team will be better for it.
