I will never forget seeing them in Nj at one of the baseball stadium concerts and I kept trying to get his attention with “ can I have a guitar pick strumming motion?” Sure enough when he was done with his solo don’t ask me how but he through it directly at me and everyone near me wanted to see it haha. I would have never gotten it back. Thankfully I was smart enough to stick it in my pocket and still have his steel pick to this day. He’s the most amazing guitarist up there with Eddie.

I fell in love with this guitar in particular back in 89-90. To the point that I've searched in music stores for it.

Phil has always been one of my favorite gutarists.. the first Cassette tape I ever got was Pyromainia.. His style amd technique tho..... Players like Pettruci, Vai, Gilbert all have a airy flow type technique. floating and sliding up and down the neck. Appearring as they arent even touching the strings.. Phil though, he looks like he is violently strangling the guitar neck... lmao. one of the more underrated players in my opinion

I HAD the exact same Ibanez destroyer as Adrian Smith had, the Red one. Unfortunately it was stolen. I added a Kahler trem to it. I believe it was a Spyder. I still wish I had it today. Those were made in '82 or '83 I think.

I remember trying out a DT555 in the 80's and the strat trem turned me off although I loved the guitar. I ended up trying my first Kramer and stuck with them for years and still use them.
@groovydjs2 жыл бұрын
They didn't have a "Strat" trem. They had a nice, double locking trem. The one you are thinking about was the cheaper DT155

I sold that guitar in 2018. The person who put THIS video together basically stole the video of Phil, stole my video of me with my old DG555 and has claimed it as his own getting almost 40k views out of his, however owns none of the content. I'm even thinking to get it removed because at the least this snake could have reached out to me and asked for permission the filthy animal.

To the 128megabytes... I sold that Ibanez in 2018. You put THIS video together with stolen footage of Phil, stole my video of me with my old DG555 and have claimed it as your own getting almost 40k views out of this and am trying to build a channel with STOLEN videos. You did NONE of the work and own none of the content. I'm even thinking to get it removed because at the least you could have reached out to me and asked for permission. I only know about it because in my Copyright part of KZbin I was notified that you are claiming my content as your own. 😤What do you have to say for yourself?
