If you were a Catholic, even if you met the property requirements for ownership, you were banned from voting in the early days of the Republic; it took using the Constitution to strip away any state laws that set up religious membership requirements to allow us to vote, at all, anywhere in this republic.

I bet that if he or she were liberal it wasn't the video because this thinking clearly shows democrats changed the whole American dream for some during these years and most liberal minds would want to hide yet another failure from leftist politics all the way till the civil war when the republicans finally went to war to stop the leftist attack on the less fortunate folks and this is continuing on today But the leftist teachers try to distort the truth of fair and equal rights and in modern times just to keep some power they even put their own race religion culture heritage in the firing line of politics so be safe and stay clear of democrats or liberals of modern times because in 2020s they are NOT Dems / liberals they are the enemies the 1980s knew as COMMUNIST SORRY GUYS BUT THIS IS A TRUE STORY AND IF YOU LIKE HISTORY YOU SHOULD LOVE THE FUTURE WITHOUT DEMOCRATS

It IS a Constitutional Republic. Democracy has ruined everthing our forefathers held dear. And they even warned us about them. This is what you get from liberal educators that have never ventured into the private sector. They know nothing about freedom or capitalism. They think communism is a valid system despite the atrocities it has brought. They say America is racist eventhough it is the most open minded natiom in the world. They call good evil, and evil good.
