I took it step by step when I was building my editing suite, but then I treated myself to better monitors as I started to colorgrade more and the monitors I had weren't cutting it. Asus ProArt PA32UC paired with the ViewSonic VP3881for my timeline workspace... oof. Best decision I ever made. Well, that and the time I beat the life out of my neighbors kid after he got bit by a rat. He was showing signs of zombie infection. Turned out it was rabies. Miss you KEVIN!!! Good little dude. I wonder how he's doing?

you can get by pretty well with 16gb. if youre doing a lot of after effects then 32gb is super nice and speeds up your workflow a lot
