New viewer here because I just acquired a 2012 Copper Red Metallic GT PRHT and was searching for information. I've driven a 91 NA for eight years and now need to learn about my NC. The previous owner did a lot of nice stuff to it already so my main focus for 2025 will be a coolant recovery tank ASAP, followed by wheels and tires for autocross, and learning how to use all this new power and tech on the autocross course.

Your car has actually been my inspiration, I've got an nc1, already installed the fender vents, and I have a duck tail spoiler plus a wing to install once the weather improves over here in the UK, then it's the bonnet vents, plus the centre bulge on the bonnet I want to make perspex!

NC1 owner here that would love that model AND a set of those door pulls. This year, NC is getting new wheels wrapped in Yokohama rubber and NB2 is getting the “oh so fun” timing belt job (🤞🏻)

I have a 2007 Copper Red Mica that's currently in the trenches of a 2.5 swap, will be getting sways and coilovers. Next year's plans are front strut tower brace and chasis braces.

Picked up a previously abused Mk7 GTI in July. APR stage 2+DSG needs some TLC to bring her back. Water pump, head gasket, engine bay needs some love, BC coilovers need a refresh and polish her off with a new set of shoes.

(Yes, I'm scared) - LSD - GT style side mirrors - Finally adding my red dot front swaybar - Finally attaching my home-made 'feed-style' sides - Probably a spoiler of some sort What I'm really looking for is a donor rx8 for All The Bits.

Finally finish my 2 and a half yearengine rebuild... I money shited my NCmiatabutstill managed to win the time attack event I was attending. No engine explosiong but enough tomake me stop the car. Now an high compression 2.3 will go in as well as with a custom designed and made plastic intake manifold that Im designing from the ground up! And... Your videos made me consider to buy a fit! I learned to driveon it back in 2008 as it was my moms car and Id like to get one now

I'm finally getting a 2.5l into my car, install an LSD, replace the radiator, recharge the A/C, refresh the brakes, figure out a fix for the hole in my passenger side leather seat, install the ATOTO headunit + rear camera.... no big deal ;)

I just moved to DFW so my 2025 plan is maximize track time . Therefore, aero is my goal; front splitter and rear Wing maybe flat floor to attach to my butterfly brace. 🤞

Awesome update bro! Track Dog Racing seems to have a Rotrex kit for the NC in the works...probably gonna go that route instead of turbo! Also, a set of door straps might be the future as well.... >_>

Plans for my supercharged NC3 (Rotrex) is mainly about cosmetics, I want to put on black badges and generally de-chrome the car. I also have the LED rear lights laying around, and may purchase other Led bulbs as they seem to be legally compliant finally. I also have an eye on a ducktail for the PRHT, but I'm not keen on color matching the rest of my zeal red NC as it seems difficult to hit the shade. A front strut brace, underbody bracing and bonnet+fender vents would be nice as well, but this would just be a relatively costy icing on the cake. Greetings from Germany!

I dont need the straps as i already have some. But this year im gonna start tracking my car. First nasa weekend will be in February. Have ss clutch and brake lines to put in, g-loc pads on the way, as well as good fluid. Im also piecing together a turbo setup from kraken. So thats fun. Ps. I really hope you can make it to miatas at the gap 2025.

There are high flow catalytic converters that give almost all of the benefit of a delete while not smelling like shit on startup. It's possible to get a 5" cat under it.

NC needs the turbo vids so badly. It's one of those areas that's still poorly documented going into 2025. Nobody has done a full build series. Maybe 2026.

@@ColoredinLight As a turbo NC owner, I dont think your car is missing it. I'd actually be more interested in a ITB set up. I think it fits your car's 'vibe' better. I know you'd be concerned about drivability, but that is a hurdle currently being overcome with tuning experience growing in the NC community. Dalton seems to have no hiccups on his pink car.

My NC1, with a 2.5 (from a Mazda 6 donor car), with a 6 speed, which is my daily driven street car plans are to turbo it, not going for big power, but somewhere around 200kwatw (ish), or there abouts......or, somewhere around 270hpatw for the people living in the 1950's... 😮😂 Currently, the 2.5 is making about 125kwatw and 235 NM (ECUTek tune on a Mainline dyno), it has 1.8 GWR headers, full 2.5 resonated Racing Beat exhaust, Whiteline sways, BC coils, new brakes and running on 17×8 Konig Decas with 215/45 17 PS5's The car handles great, but, a bit more power everywhere is always nice I've researched a lot about a cam upgrade for the 2.5, but with the limited upper RPM range of a 2.5, to keep the engine in its happy place IRT piston speed at higher RPM, putting bigger cams isn't worth the squeeze for me, in my opinion anyway..... and as always, opinions may vary...😂 Plus, I do miss all the turbo noises of previous turbo cars I've had I am also getting my, new to me, OEM detachable hard top colour matched, and the body professionally paint corrected at the same time The only other thing is the tyres may change to 235/40 17 RS4's if required once the turbo is on, and luckily, due to our awesome Australian weather year round where I live, they can stay on year round Cars are fun Enjoy life and stay safe

Do you have AC in your Miata? I have a 2.5 swapped NC and my AC is blowing hot at idle. I wasn't sure if it's a common issue in the NC Miata I wonder if I should upgrade my radiator to help keep the engine compartment temps low
