Top 3 WRs run best vertical? Clear and obvious sign someone didn't watch the Jags.Gabe is the only vertical threat the Jags have...Evan and Kirk feasted on shorter, crossers, and intermediate routes. One of the biggest issues the Jags EVEN with Ridley last season is how horizontal they were offensively. Davis and and Thomas opens things up for Evan, Kirk, and ETN to catch and go

I think people forget Lawrence looked most comfortable in college when he had TeeHig and Ross, two big WR to take away some of his accuracy issues ever since then he’s had small receivers never big targets so maybe there trying to get back to that plus jags really struggled red zone last year so a couple big targets should help not to forget Parker Washington also probably getting more play time underneath

This pick makes complete sense. They have a lot of depth and reliable, move the sticks receivers. But they lack vertical threats. With so much depth and reliability around him, Thomas will get a chance to do what he does best while developing his weaknesses through time. Better that, than paying a 30 year old receiver who put up only solid numbers as the WR1 last year.

Exactly, not only do you have to defend both of these speedsters, you can have Engram and Kirk running routes underneath with Travis in the backfield. That's a tough monster to stop and not many teams will be able to handle it. Now that there is that big deep threat, it also opens up running lanes for Travis. This pick is an absolute homerun!! The guy in the white shirt needs to be fired. Gabe Davis ran a 40 in the 4.5s, BTJ ran a low 4.3. They both get YAC but you get YAC in different ways. Davis gets his through crisp route running and power/strength, BTJ gets his through speed. Im a novice and I know this.
