You can get a Silverado HD or Escalade cluster with trans temp and its plug and play. Instead of wiring a separate trans temp gauge.

Watching this made me realize I have way to much money in my 03 single cab Sierra Huron speed single t6 Borg s480 half filled ls2 block with gen4 4.8 crank and rods summit 4" pistons nasty LJMS cam ls7 lifters cleaned up 799's, th400 swap with manual valve body and t/brake calvert leafsprings and caltracs 4.10 gear 3/4 drop 5 lug swap up front with weld 17x4 alumastars and 6 lug 15"ccws on Hoosier 28x10.5w's Holley efi. It's fun but I spent way more than I thought I was.

Nice ! So it wouldn’t stay idling on speed density because of the bad map sensor? Reason I ask is cause I just finished mine and I can’t get it to stay idling after I start it, BUT I put the maf back on in the tune and works fine.. you think I might have a bad MAP sensor?

I see the coil pack relocation it looks better and cleaner👍 without them on the valve covers, I'm doing that in mi 4.8l Tahoe and gana put some chrome valve covers on it

Just keep clean fluid in the transmission and go to the tractor store and start running the better hydraulic fluid I believe it’s a blue color it’s better for your transmission if you’re beating on it. And make sure you get a big transmission cooler.

I noticed you are running the factory intake manifold. If you switch to a high flow aluminum one, you will get much cooler air going into the engine. You might also want to get rid of the factory pcv system as it will throw hot air and traces of oil into your engine; oil catch cans help with that. Looks cool man, I want to do something like that with my 4.8.

What do you mean it's a 4.8L on 10psi and it can't be making that much? These engines can handle a lot of power bro. I know my Gen 4 4.8L can handle 800 crank and should turn about 650RWHP. And yeah, get rid of that 4L60E transmission and get a 4L80E with a Jegs shift kit (not a TransGo) and a Hayden trans cooler and it should handle it just fine, no stall converter needed unless you feel you want one. Lol

FearThis Performance well, id say around 1500-2000 so total cost with the cost of the truck, motor, fueling is around 3500-4k so that’s what I’ve spent to make around 450 whp so far
