Hey bo howd you get the ones underneath the manifold that hold the heads on. Mines a gen 3 lm7 ls. You just pry it out cuz there is play with the manifold. But my oil dipstick tuble laces through the manifold and i think i just yank that out right?

I just got rid of the ac compressor. Mine didn't work anyways back from when i didnthe heater core. Now the heater core was a bish.

i have the same radiator. radiator was okay. The fans didn't pull enough for me. i ended up buying better fans.

Hey buddy great video. You said make sure you pull out the lifter for the HP fuel pump and then a minute later you said it can stay in when removing cam… which is it? Does it need to be removed or not?

Just did all the work to my 2017 L83 with 82.5k miles in it with this video. My lifter on front passenger side started chewing up my cam. About to fill her with fluids and hopefully can tune out the AFM DOD. Will edit and update later. Wish me luck.

Back in the late 70's throughout the 80's and 90's. Car collectors - owners used to be more into showing off the car whereas viewers see more of the car and very little to none of the owner. America is showing signs of insecurity.

Thank you for the info. I am a euro car mechanic since 1988 but got to do a cam/lifter job on a 2016 Sierra 4x4 at work. This saved me dropping the front diff/oil pan/ oil pump. Those clips at the rear of the intake manifold cover are a real PITA! My crank bolt was EXTREMELY tight. The shop's 3/4" impact wouldn't even touch it. Book time is 30 hours to replace the cam! All your info made my job much easier...thank you.

No need to remove intake nor heads for a cam swap.....I thought you were changing the bearings for a second there.....Now if you wanted to do the head gasket in addition to the cam as well then that's another story.
