Great video. Love the scenery. A friend and I paddled the Kentucky River, starting ay Lock 1 and finished at Lock, 14, at Carrolton on the Ohio. 263 miles, minus the 14 miles from the head waters to Lock 1. Great time and memories. Too old and busted up to try it again.

Your brother gets the same look on his face when he eats 😎 Also no matter how many times I see bald eagles it never gets old. We see them from our house almost daily (PNW) and often a single Golden Eagle. They’re massive and majestic.

Another cool adventure Jack. Thanks for taking us along. The Bald Eagles were out fishing on the river. They wanted to tell you to have a happy 4th. The town of Carver looked like a sleepy and peaceful, quiet little town void of large crowds of tourists. The bike ride on the trail was so nice and I think you were close on guessing the age of the huge tree. I agree with your 300+ year old estimate. Ellie stayed with a sitter this time? 🦮 Nice seeing Riley and Olivia visit.

this reminded me of Iowa. I live right by Lake Red Rock. I'm not originally from Iowa but I have to say it's a really nice area for camping/water . Also a tourist type Dutch Town (Pella). Carver is 4 hrs north of me. Thanks for the video!
