Hey everyone! Regarding the Nepali Barber scam video, I just want to say a few things for those who didn't know. The barber said he was from "Nepal Terai Medhesh" (Not Indian) his words, not mine. Also, I want to note my friend who was helping me film told the barber he will get a lot of views from this video and many people will come to his shop, so he is still very silly to scam me on camera. The original intent of the video was to show the Nepali ( Not Indian) scammer who got a free haircut. I also want to note that, that same Nepali scammer also took my good friends @EoinandAisling to his art shop to try and sell them some fake art for a crazy price! There are scammers in every country even AUSTRALIA! I love Nepal, hence why I am back here again, and I love this country so much I have been working on project here helping the homeless. So please don't get the wrong Idea of me making the scammer video, it happened when I was filming a video, so of course I will still post it to youtube to educate other tourists.

You don't know how things work in Nepal from top to bottom nooks and corner our country runs on commission, first u need to understand this. As a neplese I am ashamed but I want foreigners to know this . That barber was also involved in the scam 🤣, that scammer guy is his daily Customer he brings tourist like you into their shop and scammers gets commisoon or say reward. Barber was well aware that scammer had brought you as a bait in his shop and in return shopkeeper had to pay the scammer through your money. If he hadn't had a haircut now he would probably have a haircut or massage later from that shop. Also I have seen scam going on purchasing thanka painting, scammers scam you compelling you to buy painting and in return the shopkeeper gives scammer the commisoon. If barber was honest he would aware u in beginning , but no he didn't do that he went with the intention to scam u , remember aiding and abetting to fraud someone is crime so barber was aware what was going on he could have stopped or at least aware you but he didn't, the girl with you I don't know what she was doing she had to say outright that you wouldnt pay for his haircut next time shopkeeper would charge that scammer if he came again to that shop. So don't promote his shop he is a scammer too tourist trap that you should avoid. There are many scammers scamming tourist like I saw one guy asking to buy infant formula milk for his baby to tourist and later returned it for half of the money. Commisoon Is a daily thing that goes here, well ordinary people Arr good but some shopekkers Are so much greedy you must bargain bargain bargain so therfore don't post his shop location bro he is a accomplish to that scammer and be awarr from now on.

Hello Jack toor. I'm from Nepal too. I'm really sorry for this scammer. But i wanna let you know that barber is also a scammer and he charged you 3x-4x then the official price. These are the current charges in Nepal (2023). Haircut Rs.200(MAX), Facial Rs.100, Shaving Rs.50-80, & Massage Rs.150. Total price is gonna be Rs.600-700 Maximum. Please be careful by next time any where ask them for the price menu. And I'm still wondering why that Nepali lady was okay for any price maybe she doesn't have an idea about these prices.

Most of the barber working in Nepal are from Indian states of Bihar and Uttar Pradesh ! They are some barbers from southern part of Nepal ( known as Terai/ Madhesi) , they are more decent and hardworking ! I am not saying because I am Nepali, but Bihari are seen with suspicious eyes in their own country ! Recently, Gujrat ( Indian state) blocked its railway link to Bihar to avoid Bihari comming to their place ! Note : I am not trying to be sterotype, but it is often the case most of the times !

I didn’t really complain about the price. That’s what the news media is saying. Yes it’s more then a normal haircut, but that’s not why I made the video. I made the video to warn others about the scammer the same scammer also took my friends to his art shop. Try and sell them fake art of crazy prices.
