Yeah sure brother i have a number of them.. !! 1. well first and foremost avoid these scammers as much as you can. 2. Kathmandu valley alone is home to 7 UNESCO world heritage sites (I would definitely recommend you to visit boudhhanath stupa and Bhaktapur durbar square..I am sure you won't regret going there Patan durbar is impressive as well) 3. install apps namely pathao and in driver( these apps basically act as ubers for us so you can have a fixed rate and you don't need to bargain) 4. if you need any sort of help of any kind or you need a traveling partner around Kathmandu then feel free to contact me I will be there to help you.

We ended up in the same 'art school' and these guys nearly got me to hand over 24,000 rupees (around €300). So many red flags once I was sat down in the school with them. Definitely have to be on guard in this part of the city!

Why shiva consumes weed: its association with Mahadev is quite the simple tale of literal medicinal use. According to Atharva Veda, Cannabis is one of the five most sacred plants. It was during the Samudra Manthan when Lord Shiva first discovered it. Legend says that during the Samudra Manthan, devas (gods) and rakshasas (monsters) shook the ocean to obtain Amrut (a drink to immortality). However, due to the constant churning, Halahala, a lethal poison was released that threatened all creation. To protect everyone, Lord Shiva drank this poison, which even got him the name of Neelkanth (blue throat). In order to soothe the pain, he was offered bhang (seeds and leaves of cannabis). Much of the medicinal lore around weed comes from such stories where Lord Shiva uses the plant to cure an ailment.

You nearly got scammed by that Indian dude !! be aware of these scammer & most of the things that he explained to you was almost wrong ..You should hire local newars & local people of ktm for genuine explanation about the culture, religions, about benifits of harish/ganja,shivaratri ,machhindranath etc which have been included in your this vlog..And one more thing that instrument was notta guitar 😆😅 but use to make cotton matress by beating it up.. Much love & respect, good luck & warm appreciation ...Namastey 🙏

@Kautubh Basnet, I think you don't have to apologize for the Nepali guy. I did come across a few scums around the Thamel area, a few locals, and some Chinese who married the locals....some donation scams happened during the 2015 earthquake. But personally, I still think this is a wonderful country and Nepali are some of the nicest people. Most are genuine, loyal, and humble, with only a few rotten apples that screw the good name. I'm really looking forward to going to this beautiful country again. Btw, be careful with those offering henna drawings too, mostly are scams too. Cheers!

Welcome to our beautiful country my friend. I feel so sad you have to experience this kind of event. Even I was so shocked to see those scammers and the way they plan n organize. So be aware my fren who are being over friendly and nice to u. Also, I would like to tell you that most of the Nepalese are helpful and friendly. Any way have a nice journey and hope to see many more fantastic vlog in upcoming days.

Lol...@26 mins... That's not guitar mate. That's the tool to make cottons fluffy and stuff inside the cotton quilt, blankets and comforters. Thats old school way, been for several centuries. Hope that helped. Cheers

Touching video! I been to KTM thrice as Indian and love Nepal overall, but cannot stand and have no tolerance for such people that scam others like unfortunately happened to this foreigner. No matter how destitute one is nobody as that shall ever ever dare to get something out of someone or take advantage of one's kindness or naivety period. Bad karma to the scammers or ulterior motive folks no matter how much they suffer or are destitute. In video, I saw a Samar Group on a building and my name is Samar lol.

When you get drinks or food, never get a premade cup or plate. They sit out. Watch them make it. Otherwise you just might get very sick

The guy didn't wanted to take time for you, rushing von one point to the next, on and on and on..time for them is money therefore they run so quick to get their Business done..anywaý I love that you treat everyone with respect..Also him..Well you are always so excited and explain the surrounding so well, so that I would love to travel there too..you are so honest showing us your KZbin income.. You were nearly spot on about the pottery cups… They use them for drinking and then they just smashed them afterwards… I’ve seen them in India where the Chai makers give out their Chai tea and then the cups are just discarded
