I don't usually comment on videos, but I feel like I'd be somewhat unjust to not show you my appreciation for this gem of a vlog. I like how frank you are - keeping things short and engaging. It was nice finding out about what you learn (margin call, etc). I feel like this video is a better representation of university life than some of the "typical day at harvard" videos out there. Mine at UoM goes something like this: Go to class Take notes Class done 2 hours in between class Does homework Goes to class Notes Studies Gets food Study some more Exam!

For graduate school too. The Ford School was the only place where I applied. My dad encouraged me to apply to places like Wisconsin as "safety" schools, but for me if I hadn't gotten into Michigan, I wasn't going to get my master's at all.

I go to University of Michigan: Dearborn and even though you go to the main campus, our day-to-day lives aren't that different. Congrats on getting into AA for Ross School of Business btw! Go Blue

I'm going there next fall. One thing I'm curious on is how far are the buildings usually away from each other. Basically how much time it takes to travel.

It all depends on which classes you choose. Most of my classes are about 15-20 minutes walking distance from my dorm and within 10 minutes of each other. If you have any classes on north and you live near central campus, you'll need to take the bus. Some people also use bikes and that makes the travel time much shorter

I live on central campus and it takes me 5-8 minutes to walk to all my classes. All the buildings are pretty near to each other once you are on central campus.

Please give me advice. Michigan is my dream school. I am freshman in high school taking Ap gov and Ap Macro, I also took some honor courses. Other than that, what else will help me? Like specific programs, ec’s, etc

Hey! Recently accepted to the College of Engineering. Unfortunately, I didn't apply for Ross but now that I have explored how great the program is, I'm really interested in joining. Any tips on if that is possible and the likelihood I could transfer?

Ok so I did apply to the preferred admission but I guess I was rushing and hit "No" when asked about knowing that I have to submit a portfolio. Should I contact the school to see if they will let me submit the application to Ross?

@@thibaudroy4775 Yah call them as soon as you can. In terms of transferring, cross-campus is super easy. For Ross you will only be allowed to apply once (if you are denied you cannot try again later) and should have some ECs to show that you are actually interested in business
