I’m dual enrolled right now and the snow made the school close so I’m taking the first part of my exam rn but you came on so I had to ditch lol. It’s due on Friday and it’s a paper so I’ll be fine. I wish you were my best friend, I feel like I’m alone with god all the time, that my outside relationships aren’t glorying god. How could I gain Christian friendships if my mom won’t even let me go to small groups

You are not alone girl, I sometimes feel the same way like I don't have any Christian friendships. But pray to the Lord and ask Him to give you Christian friends where you are. I prayed and prayed for years for God to bring me a friend that went to my school and went to my church and God gave me a friend who went to my school and my church. That was almost 4 years ago and we are at separate colleges now and still great friends! Also talk genuinely with your mom about how you feel and maybe she will be able to empathize with you and consider letting you participate in the things of God that you want to (small groups). You can also demonstrate God's love to others through showing the fruits of the spirit (love, joy, peace, paitence, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self control) to others in your daily life. What I noticed is that how you are is what you'll attract so if you are Christlike you will attract people of the same mindset and those who want to know why you are so different. Also you can reach out to other Christians on social media, I know it's not the same as real life friendships but it's a start right?
