I've gone out my way 4 or 5 times now to seek out Jacob in the pits.....well before engine heat. EVERY TIME Jacob welcomes me in conversation. And it's me that has to cut things off. I always feel guilty taking up his time. What a super nice guy. I always feel great after spending time with him.

The 1st night I met him at the Grove and he didn’t make the feature. Went to see him afterwards and told him how sorry I was he didn’t make the feature. He answered very matter factly that it’s all good. I answered you know you are right. You are doing what you love racing. And he answered Exactly 🏁❤️ I am forever a fan
