This is the 3rd version of this song I've heard now - it's like he's A/B testing songs with different audiences lol. Bathroom version wins for me!
@geoffthemusical4 жыл бұрын
And I know he's probably just messing with the reverb etc on Mahalia's voice and changing a few sounds/tracks, but I like the bathroom acoustic more than the studio.
@ianbrandao88994 жыл бұрын
this time Mahalia' voice seems very live ahhaahah don't you think? In the batroom version was just more reverb in the original track

There is the possibility that the video was mimed along to the track after audios were mixed together... if it's possible to say that without diminishing this dude's talant? Totally feasible to do it for reals of course, i just feel it sounds a bit too 'perfect'. Would love to hear Jacob talk about that one tho!

I don't think you know what a pro, subtle makeup job looks like. I can 100% confirm as a photographer myself, that she indeed have makeup on. Look up her cheeks. The smoothness of her face. The whole trick is for it not to show of course. She didn't cover under her eyes on purpose but I'm positive she knows what she's doing. A lot of performers do their own makeup (guys included).
