If you become really good at one instrument and actually learn some decent theory, it then just becomes transporting those notes to a different medium. If you solo with what's in your head then it's easier, but if you play an instrument via visual patterns only then it will take longer to convert it to another.

I have one of their $500 guitars (with pickup). It's been mistreated a lot, used at the campfire and such, I was always more into the piano otherwise I would have give it more love. It's still perfectly in tune whenever I pick it up. My friend has a guitar worth the same as my car. He finds it strange as well that it still sounds good. I had a Motif XS 8. Also quite well built, although I'm more into Nords now. Hope they wont fail me.. Nord Grand sounds unparalleled. All I need now is a sprinkling of Jacob's skill. What's that? Not possible?
