Well he had to win on two tie breaks with an injured Kyrigos who has had not any match play, anyone else would probably beat him. I gather he will get to round 3 at the most. Wish him all the best though.

Seen a few interviews with him now, a thoughtful, grounded guy. Can see why he's climbed the rankings so quickly with the right attitude and an impressive game.

He is a really genuine, grounded individual with great support from his family. A great year ahead for Jacob.

Amazing mentality for Jacob 🔥. Everyone against him, the whole crowd were literally cheering every-time he missed a first serve, missed a Groundstroke or double faulted during the last 2 sets. Unreal mentality 🇬🇧🔥
@Tom-f8r8o14 күн бұрын
I normally dislike that as well but I think the crowd could see Nick was the clear underdog (injured etc) and just wanted a contest. I don't think it was super rude in this case but maybe it was.

@ In any scenario if you’re literally cheering every-time someone misses their first serve - it’s shitty

Kyrgios is a big disappointment, really. And he is the biggest hypocrite this game has ever known. Here he is, asking people to understand his life situation - but then the way he talks about others, it's with such little understanding. Very disappointing, really.

It's not disappointing. NK is being who he is: a bully. It amazes me that people admire/follow/flaunt over bullies. I'm baffled why people find such personalities "attractive."
