JRM is right. When we voted to leave, we were sending £55 million a day to the EU Budget. It was high time we stopped that. That was £350 million or so a week. Money that should be spent in the UK, not in the EU.

Brexit is one thing but exiting the Commonwealth as well? Some of the U.K. foreign aid supported programmes have been conservatively managed and have been systematically shaping developing economies to align with core British industries which is mutually beneficial. Now the Commonwealth is aligning more with the EU. Seems like an obvious own goal not aligned with Brexit?
