6:33 - they said that the "lataralata" part is what Pablo's (one of the member of SB19 and also the one who wrote the song) grandmother used to sing to him as a lullaby when he was a child and he remembers it every time he's resting. They said this on a TV interview.

Ben&Ben brought out a side of SB19 that we didn't know of (especially on Ken's part those falsetto and highnotes and Josh Stable voice) And Also let's appreciate Pinunong Pablo powerful voice still gives me chills!🌭 Yay!. who'd have thought they would sound great together? Lataratara is not an actual word. From what I saw from few comments before, it was like a lullaby that Pablo remembered his mom sang to him during his younger years. Thanks again for watching/listening

Yay! Thank you so much reacting. I have been waiting for your reaction ☺️. The group Ben&Ben, the one they collaborated in this version, is a famous contemporary folk band here in the Philippines. If you get to hear the original version of MAPA, it is more mellow than the band version. MAPA was written by Pablo, and he also produced the song with Simon Servida and Jay Durias. Fun fact, when they did this performance, they only did it once since they were no mistakes while performing it during the shoot. In addition, the line distribution is different from the original version. Also, two of the Ben&Ben members did the musical arrangements for the band version. You can also check out Ben&Ben☺️. They have great amazing songs, as well. And, also wonderful in performing live performances. Their song "Lifetime" and "Leaves" are one of my favorites ☺️ All I can say this collaboration was magnificent. Two groups in different genre's collaborate in this amazing and wonderful song version.

The title is Mapa is also a wordplay. Mapa in english is map, function of a map is for navigation and guidance to know where you are going. If you separate Ma and Pa; Ma is short for mama in english is mother, Pa is short for Papa which is Father in english. The song is dedicated for their parents who guide them to grow as a good person and thanking them for where they are now in life 💛💛💛💛

Thank you for reacting to this! As a musician, I think you will really enjoy reacting to Ben&Ben’s songs. Ride Home and Leaves are in English. Then there’s Araw Araw and Pagtingin. All of these songs are on the Wish Bus. You will enjoy their musicality and their skills on their instruments. They are a 9 member band, and I believe most, if not all of them, can play multiple instruments. There’s a video that profiles the members somewhere!

i just want to share that they performed at the Metropolitan Theater,,, its was being closed in 1996 and 6 years ago the government decided to restore this amazing theater,,, it is not yet open to public but government allowed SB19 and Ben&Ben to performed in that historic Metropolitan Theater
