Thats a great point about checking the probe when the meat shrinks back👍 Im doing some beef ribs tomorrow so this is great to watch before hand🍻

@@Kamado_Allsorts_UK now and again, I have some remotely useful tips 😉 Fingers crossed the weather holds out for you! Beef ribs are definitely in my top 5 meats, they’re just amazing for the money, even though they can be a bit temperamental when cooking.

Thanks for joining me mate! I’m the same, spent ages researching other options and while I did fancy a KJ, the price difference wasn’t justified for me plus, I like to move my grill around and I’d be heartbroken if it tipped over and smashed. I don’t regret this BBQ one bit, it’s been faultless since, and I’ve cooked all kinds on it so far. You won’t regret it, especially for low and slow as it holds a really steady temperature 👌🏼

Nice vid mate, Iv wrapped with butchers paper, its better than foil cos it helps keep the bark while still keeping the meat moist. Subbed cos you seem like a decent fella..except for being a Muckey Mouser! 😂 GGMU

Butcher’s Paper is definitely the one. I add some warm beef tallow to mine when wrapping. Then when resting I wrap the butcher’s paper package in cling film to lock in the moisture and the juice/tallow. I’ve use my Weber MT for everything but looking to get a summit for next summer. Would be good to see a video on how you setup for L&S cooks.

@@dpukkz_bbq I do have some butcher paper so may give it a try on my next rib cook 👍🏼 It’s a very worthwhile upgrade in my opinion, IF you use it regular enough. Thanks for the input, I’ll add that to my list of topics to document 👌🏼
