There is something about Alex's tone in this solo that makes it so much more intense. Especially that one note with the bend at 1:51. It just grabs you and holds you there.

Excellent. just excellent. proves to me everyday what i knew when i heard fly by night and caress of steel, they had genius then. only one album of their's as a (WHOLE) has slightly disappointed me. But Permanent waves was and is still one my all time favorites, weird that moving pictures is not even in the my top 5. i just love this one. its back and forth and back, of the notes, is heaven. thanks

Very nice. I can never play this with Rush playing in the background, as the guitar and the band are in different time signatures. Playing solo it is fine, but with the band it always throws me off.
