Is Lake Eibsee Germany's Most BEAUTIFUL Lake? | German Alps

Today, we set out to see if Lake Eibsee in the German Alps is Germany's most beautiful lake. We had seen breathtaking pictures and videos of this place and knew we had to experience it for ourselves. Lake Eibsee is actually one of the main reasons we even came to Garmisch-Partenkirchen in the first place. We made sure to pick a hotel, which happened to be in the city of Grainau, that was close to the lake, so we could take the bus and ride there in just a few minutes.
Once we arrived at Eibsee Lake, we were stunned by how clear the water is and the the patches of blue and green in the middle of the lake. We wanted to make sure we had the best view of the lake and of Zugspitze, the highest peak in Germany, where we visited in our last video, so we had to hike around to the north side. Our goal for the day was to take pictures of this scenic spot and also hike around the entire lake. After spending hours here, we were struggling to finish the hike because of the snow, the cold, and not wearing the best outfits for hiking. Well done video, a little bit strange for me as a German to watch Americans in Germany, showing me my own country ;-) But I live in the German Northwest, the other side of the country. It´s all flat here, it´s like Kansas in the US. Greetings to you in Bavaria, will you go to the top of the Zugspitze? Austria isn´t far away as well.
