How do you manage to be so productive and motivated every day?? Like how do you not get burnout with all the work and projects at the same time? It is admirable tbh

In my experience, burn out comes when I’m doing something I’m not enjoying or I don’t fully understand. I remember building my capstone and it was dreadful because I was tackling a lot all at once in a short period of time. But I had the most fun building my portfolio cause I knew what I wanted...

And I have a bitchin' Notion set up now too! I must admit sir, I am feeling a bit competitive. When u are grinding this hard I now think there is always a little more in the tank! Walking twice a day for a couple miles breaks it up great! Here's to small chunks!

Do you write unit tests at all or just focus on building features? For something like payment thats critical, I would imagine it should be bulletproof? Would be interesting to hear your opinion on testing :) Awesome vlogs btw, super motivating!
@JacobSucksAtCode7 ай бұрын
Main focus on building features. Unit tests don’t ensure a bulletproof scenario, they ensure your tests pass or fail. But most of the time I’m working with type safe library integrations for services such as stripe, so all the heavy weight lifting is mainly on their side
