One of the only games where I had to take an active break due to stress, but the stress of not playing it and just getting through it was worse than actually playing it. Probably the pinnacle of the whole "Games As Art" shtick. This game is a fucking anomaly, and I have no other way to describe it - but everyone should play it. It's in my top 3.

I like how it's just stylized enough the uncanny valley is there, but it's not setting off alarms. Not that I've ever been too effected by it but sometimes it's just too much for what someone is trying to accomplish.

Its not even really uncanny valley. Its semi-cartooney in my opinion, but with a high level of detail usually not visible on these sorts of models. The hair is a dead giveaway at that, cartoon hair tends to have a lot of volume and definition to it compared to actual hair, but on top of that, it also tends to be rather unnatural and unique in shape. I almost want to describe Lara's hair in this video as anime-esque, but i know that description wouldn't really do it justice.
