Please forgive the length of this comment. I adored both of Lucas's series and am a television historian and archivist. I can tell you that you will both feel different in 10 years. 'Marvin Marvin' was, overall, a pretty good series. The main problem was that the parents were too loony. At least one parent in a series always has to be grounded in reality and believable. If the parents had been grounded in reality the show would have lasted and been successful. When it comes to "Fred: The Show" the main problem was the length of each episode. 15 minutes was a mistake. It robbed the show of any real potential for character development. And let me end by saying Nick made a huge mistake not spinning of the camp from Fred 3 into it's own series. With Tom Arnold and Joey Bragg as the leads it would have been a hit.
