One time I was on a road trip with my dad and we were driving through a huge empty desert and i randomly had a craving for Quiznos specifically, I figured we would just eat at whatever the closest place was and then all of a sudden like a miracle from above there was a gas station in the middle of nowhere with a Quiznos attached and It’s genuinely such a good memory for me so thank you for posting this video about this legendary sandwich place

My brothers first job was at Quiznos. The broccoli cheddar is a classic. Quiznos will always be #1 in my heart. But my childhood subway did have frozen yogurt so it was always a special treat to go there

ok so let me throw in my 2 cents: yes, in general, a toasted sandwich will be better than cold, especially if we're talking about sandwiches from chain restaurants. Subway, Firehouse Subs, McAlister's, etc. but a good cold sandwich is unlike anything else. quality fresh bread, protein, some spicy mustard, mayo, and a little cheese with thinly sliced onions, heirloom tomato, and a dill pickle on the side? unbeatable

Hii professional chef here. Bacon bits from a restaurant are generally cooked fresh then chopped. Bacon have a shelf life of 12 hours without refrigeration, as opposed to the normal 4 hours.

The first time I went to a grand opening of Quiznos it was shockingly delicious. Then every time since it was different and blah. One of the workers said their little oven train thing changed to heat things faster and so it just wasn't as good. I don't know if he made that up, but it just made me not like it as much.

I worked at 3 Quiznos through high school and warly 20s. Werid the rosemary still looks the same and the one reason owners were really mad was the $5 footlongs or larges cus Quiznos is only 11 in. And that really pissed them off cus they couldn't get cheaper meat and then had to discount it.

I worked at one that was open for less than a year. I wasn't a fan. For all the "high quality" involved, they didn't taste any better than Subway. And on top of that, whoever chose the location for the one I worked at picked a bad one. It was on a very inconvenient one-way street with a severe lack of parking.
