I suggest listening to Side Effects. Its a big of a loud song that had a lot of controversy because of how loud it is. But the story behind it is that they are boys going through the side effects of being an adult. They talk about how society this day in age is all about controlling others to stick to the standard. And if you step out of that standard, you automatically get looked down on.

Side Effects is diamond for us sound engineer. I used the song to test my speaker and headphones till now. Yeah it might be a bit noisy for gp but for us sound people, phewww... the song is a MASTERPIECE

Maybe “side effect” its a really special genre and rare to hear in kpop. Stray kids was the first group who tried this genre and in my opinion they nailed it.

Please check out their Kingdom’s Performances specially the “God’s Ddu ddu ddu” one where they covered BLACKPINK’s “Ddu Ddu Ddu” and added their own taste and sound to it. You’ll get blowned after watching it I swear. By the way, the “Kingdom” is like a competition where Stray Kids competed against other 5 popular boy groups in korea.

Honestly just check out their whole NOEASY album they’re AMAZING! I recommend Domino and Wolfgang as they’re some of my favorites and I think a musician like yourself will like it! They don’t have MVs btw! I also suggest listening to Side Effects (there’s a 2020 update of it btw due to a missing member) since this one is very controversial as many have called it “noise”. It would be very cool to see your take in it! (I also suggest to read the lyrics while listening to understand the story behind it!) 3RACHA (The producing unit of SKZ) takes pride in their producing skills so I suggest watching their live performance “God’s Du Du Du Du” where they mixed God’s Menu and Blackpink’s Du Du Du Du! (This was for a competition they were in called Kingdom!) With that, there’s a behind the scenes video of their performance where it not only shows them practicing the choreo, but also the production of the song so it would be really cool to see your reaction of them in their element! I am so happy that you did a reaction for this one. I am not a professional in the music genre, so I am not sure what I am hearing most of the time, but I like their horns and bass, as it makes a deeper sound. In this song, it is like hip hop and edm, but in other songs you have other vibes as well. I grew up in the 90s, so I guess I like familiar vibes. In the some of their songs, I feel the vibe of the Prodigy, and then the feeling of Jay-Z and Linkin Park's collaboration, but then I also feel the Chainsmokers and Far East Movement vibe. Well, none of what I said make sense, but I hope you got what I meant. 😂😂😂

When you mentioned about Felix's deep voice contrasting with the high pitched horns, yes I've noticed that a lot with Stray Kids. Because they each have very different voices, the line distribution is often arranged to show maximum vocal contrast, which is something I love about their music.

Could you draw it back to their pre-debut? I always love seeing how they improved/changed .. it's amazing... Their pre-debut is Hellevator and their debut is District 9 and so on, and so forth. Stray Kids is the first group where I've loved everything they put out consecutively. I usually only like one or two songs from a specific artist, but I honestly haven't found a SKZ song I haven't enjoyed thus far... But can you also react to their kingdom performances? (Jasin, I'll Be Your Man, God's Ddu ddu ddu) I'd love to hear your take on it. I absolutely love 'em

Some of my favourites are Hellevator, District 9, Awaken, 3rd eye, Voices, Miroh, My Pace, Levanter, Side Effects (This is like ... my go to honestly), TOP (my favourite version is weirdly the Japanese one), They also performed Slump on The First Take and it was absolutely amazing, I cannot explain it in words (TOP and Slump are OSTs for the anime Tower of God that they did), B Me, and I just want to say the entirety of the NOEASY album (obviously there are more, but, I'd just be putting down their entire discography)
