8:10 he didn't do that but he did something similar! He sings "i could take the high road" higher and "but I know that I'm going low" lower. The city he's talking about is DEMA (a fictional dystopia that they created for this album, it sorta represents that dark place in your mind that people that suffer from mental illnesses, etc. get "trapped" inside). Banditos are these people and those that "rescue" them from this dark place, like their friends or family. When he says "this is the sound we make" he's talking about that line (Sahlo Folina), which is a cry for help, what Banditos say when they need help. We're not sure what the words exactly mean, it's probably not anything complex, Tyler just likes mixing sounds together and make up words like that. The two places he talks about is DEMA, the metaphorical dystopian city, and the outside world. In between these two, there's Trench (which happens to be the name of the album). The performance is kinda unique compared to their other songs, kinda psychedelic in some parts, so I recommend checking it out! Also, where are you taking these lyrics from? I recommend using Genius or a different source because some lyrics seemed wrong (it's "heatless fire", not "heartless fire" for example). Also, if you use Genius you can compare your interpretation to the annotations which might be interesting

Do a lyric breakdown to Neon Gravestones by TOP it’s one of their best songs lyrically in my opinion

Hopefully you listened to the song as well because it's an incredible song. Lyrically it tells part of an incredibly complex story that Heathens (a tiny bit) Heavy dirty soul, Jumpsuit, Nico and the Niners, and Levitate tell. The level of creativity and artistry that Tyler and Josh have is out of this world.

Jacob: *deep ten minute breakdown of obscure lyrics* Me: Is that Yosemite on your computer monitor? 😂 This was great. Still think it would be better to listen to the song again after the breakdown though. Thanks again!
