Hi everyone! As you may notice this is a compilation of some of my older videos. My music teacher would always say it’s like losing a hand if he does not have the piano by his side. I always thought he was exaggerating, since I’ve had times when I had no piano to play for many weeks at a time. It was only until recently, having not played the piano for a couple of months, that I realized it had taken a huge toll on me: I’ve become more irritable, depressed and lost many introspective moments where I would have had if I’m playing the piano. I’ve just rented a piano room and can play tomorrow(i know, what a coincidence haha). Perhaps touching the keyboards will bring me to tears. Let’s find out:)

I am amazed of the simplicity and the beauty of the "Interstellar" theme. I play a little piano, very little, but enough to see that at least for the right hand, it is super simple and yet, so beautiful. And everything stands in the interpretation, the forte- piano- pianissimo, the rythm, the rubatos just in the right places (when you slow down a bit the rythm). Beautifully played, Jacob. And what a genius is the composer, to come with such a simple and yet such a haunting theme. And so suitable for the mood of the movie.
