When I get jossled by them to wear I am knocked off my feet and am tempted to yell I keep in mind how loving you are with your animals that God has brought into your lives. God bless you.

I sent this video to a friend of mine in the UK (I’m in the US) with the following message. This video brought back so many wonderful memories. Thank you so much! I really enjoyed this video because I had the privilege to curry several horses and a brahma bull in my past. The Brahma bull was the best experience because he was so calm and enjoyed the brushing more than the horses. I had to sit on his back to complete the job. Everyone thought I was crazy. I worked for veterinarian near my house (for free) where fed the horses, the brahma bull, The cats and dogs and other animals that they were taking care of. I mostly took care of their African gray parrot and the birds that most the other people were afraid to feed the birds because they would usually attack them, I have no idea why they didn’t attack me, I think back now and it’s probably because I didn’t expect them to attack me. That’s probably because I was stupid, but I was never ever hurt by any of the birds that he had and he had four large cages with these huge parrots. The veterinarian had professional people to wash the dogs, but I got the opportunity one time. There was this sweet little dog that I was able to wash. I talked to him the entire time, baby talk of course. I could tell he was a little afraid so I lowered my voice. I was calm and I massaged that dog the way the bug in the video rubs the donkeys ears. I could feel him relax and respond to the tone of my voice. I treated him like we at this Plush spa. This video gave me such good memories of those times.

I can tell you, Rachel and Julian, realize how blessed you are living where you do and caring for all your charges. I would sell my house, car and everything I own if it was possible for me to live in a tent at the ridge and help tend your animals. I love horses and donkeys. When I was a kid, we had a Palomino that was the biggest and strongest horse on our ranch, but was gentle as a lamb. I had to climb a fence to get on him. One time I took him out and went racing across a field. All of a sudden we were airborne as he jumped across a ditch I hadn’t seen. I came up off the saddle, plopped back down, and fell off like a popped cork. I’m amazed I lived to tell the story. Anyway, I love your videos. Thanks for sharing.
