Just a reminder for everyone : at first it'll be hard to do all the exercises with ease nd it's going to be flat. We're just starting to develop this technique nd like working out it's going to take some time to be able to lift the heavy weights much more easier than before :). Be easy on urself, don't be ashamed on how u sound in the begging, progress is progress, nd everyone's is valid!

I’m a beginner but I managed to do this, but the excercise 4-7 mins was so hard! I had to take a 10 min break to finish it. Day 1: Done Day 2: Impossible. 😭 Update: I give up. I’m gonna come back when I get better at other videos 4 month update( May 21st), these excercises are too slow for me now. I do the hardest one effortlessly! If you’re consistent you will improve!!

Hey y'all. I'm trying to do vocal workouts (just getting back into vocals after a few years) and I'm finding that I'm really tame. I'm in my house where people are (unfortunately for them) forced to listen to my liprolls and other workouts, with more vocal techniques than just cleans, and they increasingly more annoying. (Yes, I'm using them safely.) But I think it can be irritating for them. I have no idea how to have the confidence not to be so tame because of that, so any advice would be great!
@jamies90404 жыл бұрын
You can use a pillow (or a belt box if you’re willing to buy one, I have one and it’s an excellent muffler), choose times to do the vocal workouts when people are out of the house, or just leave all your insecurities at the door! I’ve been down this road before, I used to suck so I did vocal workouts every day in the shower. Needless, it payed off bcuz now I’m an excellent singer and got the opportunity to be professionally trained, so I know it works. This doesn’t mean “do your vocal exercises while their on the phone or trying to finish a big project and then expect them to not go and tell you to quiet down” , but firmly tell them that these are things you need to do, and remember that it’s not their voice, it’s YOURS. Everyone starts somewhere, so even if it may be annoying now, in a year you (and your family) are going to thank you for putting the work into your voice😊💜

@tomskinner2413 жыл бұрын
Heya! I just came across this comment whilst doing the warmups, and I thought I'd give it a shot at answering! So this video is to help with your riffs and runs which are basically fancy embelishments pop stars like Ariana grande use over a range of notes so like they'd descend like 5 notes whilst vibrato can be used on one note which is basically like a controlled 'wobble' in the voice like Shawn Mendes uses it a lot I hope that helped!:)
