What id like to see is someone take a full range vs the half bridge at say 25 hz and 40 hz putting out the same power not clipping and see which one is louder on the low notes.maybe its just me but the taramps i had just dont compare to my shark 4500 down low.it just sounded like something was missing.

@@JacobViral2 how do you set those amps properly? I have 1 on 3 dual 2 zvx’s and I can’t even cut the amp gain up a quarter waywithout it clipping and the amp going into protect. I have them at 1.33. Any ideas why? Thanks

@@bigggrab6729 your RCA Voltage from your head unit controls your gain setting. I have a 2.5v head unit and it doesn’t go past 1/3

I was really just being sarcastic, which from my comment being positive I thought was obvious. Actually he taught me something. I own termlab, if you even know what that is, and I used his method today to clamp one of my amps, and it was very accurate. I think very highly of Jacob viral. I’ve met him at several shows. Talked to him many times and he’s the nicest guy you’ll ever meet. I have a feeling I wouldn’t have that same opinion of you.

I’ll just say what I already said. Jacob does more for the car audio community than anyone I know of. He has more passion for it than anyone I know of. He’s also the nicest guy you’ll ever meet. I didn’t realize the sentence “you made a few mistakes” was such a big deal. I’ve been doing car audio since before Jacob was born, and I’ve learned quite a bit from him, and thoroughly enjoyed this channel since finding it. So Jacob if I offended you I apologize. Yeah. Start researching enclosure building. Figure out what type of enclosure you want to suit your needs. Id start with your electrical system needs first. But there are tons of great, informatiinal vids out there. Just gotta sift through the garbage ones.

Nice goodluck with your build! What Fred said but also try to layout everything on paper and in your head before all the decisions so you safe time and money. Make sure you double check your measurements and tune properly. Expect to have room for the electrical and amp rack stuff.

1 ohm starting and usually rise to 1.7-2.5 ohm. Don’t wire below 1 ohm or can blow if you ever see below .9

I have this same amp I brought just trying it out and I have it on 3 zvx’s wired to 1.33 and I can’t turn the amp past quarter way. I cut it up then it goes into protect. 🤦🏽♂️

@@bigggrab6729 What’s your rca preout voltage? Usually over 2-2.5 is too high. How’s your electrical? Not having enough to support can be a problem if dropping into the low 12s. Gain/Bass level isn’t a volume knob, depending on your rca voltage will lead to where your gain should be. I have never had mine protect so that’s weird you are sorry.

I’m running a Vulcan 3000 at 1 ohm with 2 AB elite 15’s with a jvc hu that has 5v pre outs and haven’t had any problems for over 2 1/2 months now. I usually sit around 13.8V at full tilt with the big 3, an optima yellow top and a stock alternator still in a ‘04 Jeep Grand Cherokee WJ
