@Bassotronics4 жыл бұрын
@ *Luke_784 Low Frequency* Thanks for the input, interestingly enough I was using my Stetsom venom 800.4 which is not specifically an amplifier for Bass but I was using it with my Sundown 15” subwoofer been playing down to 10 Hz at full tilt many times. And have not caused me any issues whatsoever. I was skeptical on doing that but it withstood the test of time. I recently bought a Taramps Smart3 so now I’m using the Venom 800.4 for the midbass and vocals.

Beast amps for the price. I'm doing a new build that a lot bigger and was thinking about adding 2 more of my current amps or getting some of these powerus amps. They are stout that's for sure! If you have the right kind of lithium cells, or a lot of good AGM batteries, this isn't too hard to run. Less than $500 worth of A123 cells from battery hookup would do 1000 amps continuous no problem, or a big bank of headway 38120's. A few big Northstar AGM batteries would also do the trick. Lots of people have the 12k version of the Taramps MD series, and the Wolfram 7.5k that does well over 9k watts, amongst others like Sundown's NS1 or NS2 or the Salt 12k's. You might need 2 or 3 big alternators, but I think the people who would buy this amp know they need a ton of juice to run it. It would be a fun science experiment to mess with this kind of stuff if you have the extra money to play with. Im not personally in that boat, but I still plan on building a decent lithium battery for my little 3k amplifier. I can do $300- $400 on that to play with lol.

You need to upgrade ur cars electrical system. I suggest getting a high output alternator and upgrading ur battery to an aftermarket high watt battery. I did my alternator from stock 60amp to high output 200amp, and replaced stock battery with a 2400w, 1600cca battery, as well as replaced wiring between the two to 1/0g wire. I also played it safe as a back up and installed a 50 farad capacitor. The reason ur lights dim and ur car stalls is ur taxing ur cars electrical system. It doesn't have enough to power ur system and still power ur spark plugs and lights. Hope this helps.
