Overwatch only took off because it was a fresh idea at the time, but that’s about it. Honestly, I don’t even like multiplayer games, but I still think this one is decent. I probably won’t play it, but having Venom in it makes it appealing for someone like me. I mean, I didn’t even want to try Overwatch, but with this game, I instantly thought, "I want to try it."

While this comment is true, Marvel Rivals is still a better game than Overwatch. Releasing 4 heroes in 1 season compared to how Overwatch took YEARS to add 4 heroes. The game is much more well balanced, it is just as competitive, lower queue times, better shop system, better battlepass system, has more creative abilities, and is much MUCH more popular. Want proof of its popularity? Let's have a look at an example with Twitch's categories. Marvel Rivals has over 200k viewers and is the second largest category. whereas Overwatch 2 has 9.4k. Dismal.

I know it is now kinda like a trend to hate Overwatch right now, but using FAKE INCORRECT AI Google Answers is straight up just dumb. First of all Overwatch 1 on release wasn't even released on Steam. Secondly it was a 60€ game, unlike Marvel Rivals, and last but not least, it reached 7 million players only on its 1st week, that's an average of 1 million daily players. And I am not even talking about Overwatch 2 that had 25 millions players in the first 10 days, and reached 100 million players last June. For those wondering bloxfruit is a Roblox game, I’d say that means 80% of player base is children which contributes to the high player count. Also Marvel Rivals is clearly targeted towards adults and older teens. Not to mention that Bloxfruit is also pay to win. I have little brothers who are still in middle school who play(big family I’m a sophomore in college tho ).
