I been looking at this chain for a long long time now. For 4MM they are super pricy, especially on Jacoje. Recently I was rocking a 7MM Cuban but I like the clean look the Franco gives so I’m switching over. Great review 👍

Just ordered Jacoje 4mm 22 inch 18kt white Franco. Very unique being 18kt white and Franco but I’m more unconventional and love white gold! I was between the 4mm and 5mm for awhile and money is no issue although it is my first real chain so I wanted to spend around 5. The 4mm in 18kt was right around there! I feel the 4mm is the perfect subtle look but still having a decent presence. Where the 5mm is where you step into a different territory and it’s no longer that subtle. I’m a subtle guy and don’t like to show off. If people think it’s fake or silver then more power to em! Because I’ll always know that shit was 5k 😂
@TrevorATX Жыл бұрын
Update I actually ended up going with 4mm 22 inch 14kt white instead, and then also got a 3mm 22 inch 14kt yellow as well. Basically 2 chains for the price of 1. Just about the same gold content between the 2 chains as well. This way I will have a 3mm yellow and 4mm white with more of a variety. Not sure I'll rock them together however the yellow/white stack looks dope so maybe.

Go 18k. From someone who grew up in jewelery and traveled a lot. 18k is the bases standard a Globally. Only the USA plays around with 14k for adult jewelry. Domestic markets are different but gold markets are the same. 24, 22, or 18k at the least.

Should I go 4 or 5mm bro? I’m 6’4 230.. im getting the 26inch length.. should I go 14 or 18k?
@TrevorATX Жыл бұрын
Always go 18kt if you can swing it financially. That’s basically the golden rule. Also always size up if you’re between sizes, only exception to that is if you’re going for a more subtle look. More subtle would be 4mm. Hope this helps

Dope chain! Do you plan on 2 chaining??
@ausmoney203 жыл бұрын
It's a possibility. If I do I'm looking at a 20 inch rope at 3.5mm or 22inch at 4mm.

So im only 5’8 and weigh 280 and I think my neck is like an 18 1/4 i used to weigh 320.. but im still losing weight... So my end goal is to get back to 190lbs and be happy again.. So at my current weight you think Id be good with a 24” 4mm..? And then as I lose weight Id still be good with that length and then I can pair with a 20” as my neck shrinks?
@TrevorATX Жыл бұрын
That seems like a solid plan man! Even the 4mm 22 inch is nice and clean. Although 24 works too. I’m 6 2 220 and originally was going to go 24 but did 22 because 24 was too “swanging”. 22 nice and clean cut more everyday any scenario. 24 more casual

Hey bro nice video, I’m looking to get a 22” 3.5, I’ve been debating on getting a 3 or 3.5 and am the same way don’t wanna be dissapointed in any way plus tax returns just hit lol. and I’m about 5’4 so not big at all and am looking to pair it with a 20” 2.5mm rope. I know it might look too big for my rope but I might sell it or give it to my gf if I think they don’t mesh well and buy a bigger size or something or ima wear 2 2.5 ropes stacked at 20 and the 3.5 Franco at 22. Nice chain tho bro!!
@ausmoney203 жыл бұрын
Hey bro, I saw the video you posted. That 20 inch rope at 2.5 looks good on you. If price is a concern, I honestly think you would be alright going with a 20 or a 22 inch franco at 3mm. The franco looks bigger than the rope at the same thickness so just a .5mm difference will make the franco stand out a bit. Keep in mind the difference in color it will have at 14k and 18k. Also, jacojes rope chains are from Peru so they have a slightly different color than the italian made chains like the franco. Whatever you do, good luck! Cant go wrong with a franco especially if you're pairing with a rope.
@jaydens27563 жыл бұрын
@@ausmoney20 appreciate it, and ya I was worried about the color difference a bit but am now kind of like it’s whatever gold is gold and I compared it to my gf 14k chain, together it doesn’t look too bad tbh but ya there are different manufacturers. I am most worried about getting it and being like I should’ve went a little bigger but you are right the 2.5 is honestly a good size because the way I’m built so 3 would work. I’m pretty tempted to go up cuz I just got my return but ya it’s not cheap by any means either way I’ll have a review of it when I get it and may have to switch up my setup if I don’t like how they mesh, if I went 3.5 it might look a bit big compared to the rope so I could stack 2 of those ropes or just give it away and buy one bigger rope. Still keeping all options open I really like heavy link and the jacoje curb but am falling in love with the Franco even tho you don’t necessarily get the most bang for your buck in terms of width. Just watching videos and stuff tryna see how I can wear it the best so thank you for this review man.

Thanks! Keep in mind how important the neck size is! In my case with 16 inch neck, 24 inch would still look subtle and have the benefit of being able to take it on and off without unclasping it.
