Aaron P. I’d go 2.5. That’s what I have and it’s really nice. Very durable, it is smaller, but it has some hefty weight for the size. I’m pretty sure it’s the heaviest chain of that size besides the Byzantine.

I was considering a Miami cuban or a flat link but Franco's seem more interesting and I might regret buying a light chain like a figaro or flat curb. Idk it all depends on how much I'm willing to spend once I save up enough and how it looks and feels

I can only answer from my own point of view of course, but it my opinion it is not possible for a chain to be too heavy. Some people ask me how I can bear to wear heavy chains, but the heavier the better as far as I'm concerned.

Bro i thought the 5.5mm 18k byzantime chain my grandmother gave me before she passed was heavy at 136 grams but damn 200 grams?! She also had a 30" long flat platinum byzantine (950 stamp) she gave me and thats 277 grams but 9mm. Too long to even wear.. Thats a neckbreaker.. you can get a workout just walking around with that bad boy. And the style is just timeless. Im working on a handmade 18kt byzantine bracelet to match and ive got it like 3/4 of the way done but cant find the same clasp.. they dont make jewelry like they used to anymore..my 14kt 8mm cuban is only 107 grams and that i bought in 2012.
