My Everyday chain is a 13mm Sterling Silver Miami Cuban Link. It's close to 200 grams, but it's not big enough for me. If you're thinking about buying a gold chain, silver is a good way to find the size you like before upgrading, but silver is my preferable precious metal to wear.

Also don't be afraid to step out of your comfort zone a little! Try on all sorts of sizes for sure. I was rocking a 5mm 20" for years until my SO gifted me an 8mm 20" and I was a bit unsure at first, I'm 6ft average built and felt like it was way too big for me at first but after a week or two, I went back to my 5mm and it felt way too small for me personally and now I love the 8mm and it's my new daily 👍

Jacjoje please help. Im Cuban and I like the 6mm. As far as length you say 22” is a great size and I agree. You also said 6mm is stand alone and looks goofy with a pendant. You also said leave 4” gap. My question: Should I get the 22” and pair with 18” pendant. Or should I go up to 24” for pairing reasons. Thank you for all your videos, you’re the best out.

With cuban links, even well made ones will twist at smaller millimeters and especially shorter lengths. My advice is to go thicker and longer on the chain next time. Having a longer chain puts better weight distribution when you wear the chain so that it doesn’t flip around.

I have a question regarding my chain, I have a 6mm 14k Miami Cuban link 20 inch chain. The links just look different than a traditional Miami Cuban link. The top and bottom are filed like normal but I noticed the sides are filed too making the links thinner and have a straight edge on the sides rather than a traditional “bulky” curve look. Is that a red flag or is that how some chains are made?

That is still a Cuban link but in curb style meaning it's a bit thinner and lighter making it more affordable and not a true og Miami cuban link because the gap is a bit more pronounced..next would be curb flat which are even thinner and look flat but still wear nice but again are made to be even more affordable but are still good quality chains..just lighter and the shape isn't the exact same as an og Miami cuban but still damn close. Those things combined make the chains more affordable since they're lighter and don't have to do as much bending and whatnot while making them..hope this helps
