I have friends who tell me that I’m the only one they can share good news with, because I’m genuinely pleased for them, as opposed to everyone else who’s jealous and resentful. I don’t understand why people are like that. Someone’s gain is not my loss. If you like them, why aren’t you happy about their good tidings? Baffles me.

Same here! I don't know why people are so threatened by other people's good fortune! It's so weird to me. I'm excited for my friends and family when they are successful, and they are for me in return. I'm there for them no matter what they have to say, that's friendship. :)

You are suggesting to change the culture you use to raise kids. This thus changes their behavior, leading to a "change in human nature" for them 🤔 Many say that cannot be changed, but this clip suggests they are wrong- and I agree. Maybe that is the point of religion - the reason it exists

Exactly! That's why I often shake my head when somebody says "Now, I can see who she truly is!", when a person has done something bad. Whatever bad somebody does comes exactly from the opposite of true human nature. True human nature is consciousness, compassion and love. Bad stuff comes out of ego, hurt/pain, scarcity thinking, revenge, envy and other things related to unconsciousness.

You don't make them feel "special" by paying attention to them... by paying attention to your children, you allow them to become individual people. Not paying attention to your children creates trauma and sibling rivalry and all manner of "issues" as they get older. And mostly, children need the attention of their father. Yes a woman and child can be a pack leader, your right in purely the realm of wolves/dogs no they can't, but that's where your logic fails, there is the dominate female often picked by male and the lady's fall in line much the same, but past dogs to humans women and children could easily be the dominate figure considered leader of pack to a dog as we are not fucking dogs they dog don't see us same as a female or child pup, dogs recognize us as something other than dog, but still bond and are recognized as family and the leader role by nature is the strongest not most dominant acting but toughest and that's figured out by fighting most dogs still hit the point from playful puppy playing to a serious agressive fighting it's them trying find their place in pack and or go for leader they will even test us, my last dog my best friend ever had st Bernard German shep mix smartest dog I've ever had, tried me even at one point while I was active duty army in uniform I wrapped him up and immobilized his limbs and head like a spider monkey lol but that's all it took he knew that his strength wasn't on my level and that that, next pup sure wanted to be leader bad a female Shepard husky mix she tried when was still to young would tear into older ones ass a lot trying her damnit in all right she etter fighter and hunter but tried to young due to his size could tolerate it but if they were same age the girl woulda been leader of the dog pack which is technically like the beta next in charge cuz I'm established leader overall, hmm maybe that's why she being female was trying earn that spot of fav female and dominate female miss my baby's so much the bonds made truly is something else expressly now days the dogs have a affinity for empathy they are wizards with it when bonded they put a lot of humans to shame they were my fur children, family is not always about blood, familial bonds created from comradery and shared experience is often a stronger bond then blood , we choose or find out real families if we are lucky enough anyways. Hate how independent tech has allowed us to become as humans we should always be communal as it is when we are at our best.

My oldest brother thought it was his birthright to have the farm after our parents died! What? He put a lien on the property to block us from selling it. We had to use our inheritance $$ to undo it. Stupidity! He called himself the clan leader. Ha! He died of COPD in 2016. We laugh about my sis being clan leader now. There were seven kids in our family but none of us could stand him. Sad really but true.

@@Alem_Mehari If you talk about me-consciusness, you may be talking about the first level. There are higher levels of consciousness. Not all humans are the same. Some people behave as animals, they do not think about others or foresee the consequences of their acts. They don't even care. There are animals with human form. On the other hand, some people are able to think about others, do not want wars and try to help or facilitate other peoples' lives, because they understand that we need to cooperate. This is the consciousness I'm talking about. These are the true humans.

Bullsht kids aren't jealous. This is well understood in psychology and sociology. Children absolutely compete for their parents' attention.
@MangomanGames

his point isn't that kids aren't jealous, it's that certain types of parenting foster that jealousy. there are ways to parent children in ways that foster positive feelings toward others and he elaborates on it in other talks. really eye opening i recommend checking them out

Exactly the point. The problem is that you're pointing at a result, and assuming it's a template. Any 'young' will compete for what there isn't enough of, in your example, parents attention. Consider that when we feed a baby his bottle, we don't stop until the baby stops, if the parents did the same with their attention, there would be no rivalry whatsoever.
