I think being charged for extra money due to checking out late is reasonable. Those love hotels don't just have full-day service but also per-hour service. If you checked out late, the hotel wouldn't be able to have other customers. The extra fee depends on the hotel. Make sure you read the check-in and check-out rules next time. Cheers!
