Fantastic videos, helpful and well explained. For me, 2006 jacuzzi j470 that has run flawlessly until last fall where after a fresh fill (power off) when I powered back on I had FLo2 error, no pumps no circ, nothing. It’s cold in canada at that time so I freaking out. After much testing and reading I ended up disconnecting and then reconnecting this same sensor connector suspecting the Flo switch. Upon connecting everything came back to life immediately and heated up and ran beautifully all winter! Thank goodness! The other day when o-ending to use it I discovered the Flo error again. No water fall running which told me no circ pump, No control on any buttons, Checked filters, water level and did a power recycle only to then see FLo2 so I opened the side, opened the spa pack and again disconnected and reseated the sensor strip connector and everything came back to life again! However, last night I open the tub to use it and again I have a FLO error. Do you suspect the time is up on this flow switch? Just order a new one from jacuzzi? This one is different, it appears to thread into a larger white abs flow pipe? Can I just power off, unthread and replace, then re-wire as you demonstrated here? Much thanks spa man!

Hi spa man thanks for the awesome video!! I have a 2015jacuzzi j375 all pumps work, heat set to 104 but won’t go over 88. When I reset breaker it did say FL2 error code . Does this sound like flow switch and temp sensor ? Or possibly heater element ? I recently replaced a failed circuit board. Everything else seems to be working well. Thanks again

Love your videos very great information. Just a thought may be easier to tie a string on the end of the sensor wire before you pull it out then you could tie onto new sensor wire and pull it back.

Hey good evening all your videos are so useful thanks and I also learned from you a lot my questions is here I just bought a jacuzzi hot tub 400 serious and they told me I have to get the wiring ready and I ask one of my friend electrician but he is even not sure how many wires I need but as far as I know jacuzzi runs with just three wires 2hot and ground when get to jacuzzi from Subpanel really question is how many do I have to bring wire from my mean house panel to sub penal which is 5feed alway to the tub pls help me answear it
@spaman54403 жыл бұрын
You would put your GFCI in the main and run 4 wires to the sub panel and then from the Sub you would just run the two hots and the ground to the Hot Tub. Hope this Helps...Thanks for watching & SUBSCRIBING

Spa Guy, your videos are fantastic and so helpful. I have a 2015 Jacuzzi J315 that will not reach the set temperature. It hovers between 85 and 95 even though the temp is set to 102. Everything seems to be working fine; heater light is on, both circulation and jet 1 pumps work. Sometimes the ICE warning will come on even though the temperature is in the 80's. I have power cycled the tub and sometimes the heater will bring the temp up to 102. But them it does not remain at temp. Any ideas for what to check would be helpful. Thanks again for the great videos.

Check to make sure you are in Standard mode...It sounds like it might be in Economy mode which will only allow it to reach 85 to 90 Now if that is not the problem it could be the heat sensor not reading the temp correctly. The heat sensor , Flo switch and the cir pump on average last about 5 to 7 years depending on the maintenance of the spa. Hope that helps Thanks for Watching & SUBSCRIBING

Will the heat sensor give the flo error code too
@spaman5440 Жыл бұрын
In answer to your question. No Heat sensor tells you the temp of the water in the Hot Tub. Flow error code tells you that you don not have water flow through the system to turn the heat on when the temp sensors says water temp is 85 and we have it set for 95... No flow through the system and you will get error code Thanks for Watching & SUBSCRIBING

Hey Spa Man, used your videos to replace my circulation pump and flow switch in my Jacuzzi J345 last year and you made it so easy. Now my thermostat is reading hot temperatures (105) but the water is cold. Seems like a heat sensor is the logical answer, does that sound right? Any other possibility?
